Coursework

For each assignment you must produce a nicely bound report using a spiral binding with hard covers. In your report you should:
  1. Describe each problem with screen shots (if applicable) of your programs.
  2. Explain how you designed your solution or explain where you got stuck.
  3. Give the Java code for your solution (or partial solution)
  4. to have a title page.
  5. to have a table of contents.
  6. to have sections and subsections for each of the tasks.
  7. to have neatly presented and well laid out code with comments.

At the end of the year, you will be asked to explain your work. You will not get marks for the portions that you cannot explain.

I would like you all to create a web page for your assignments.

Please create a directory on igor.gold.ac.uk at ~/public_html/java2

create 3 subdirectories of this called:

cwk1, cwk2 and cwk3

Convert your coursework1 to pdf (there is a button for this in Word) and upload it to ~/public_html/cwk1/it.pdf

Please email me (with a link) when you have done this.

(similarly for cwk2 and cwk3 after the hand-in date - not before.)

I would also like source code and executable jar files for each of the three assignments put in the right directories.
