Internships at Goldsmiths Digital

Students are working on a project that applies computer science and interaction design to real-world briefs provided by real companies from the creative technologies sector in order to gain experience and evaluate applications of computer programming in the creative sector. Each week students are allocated tasks for delivery by the end of the week that reflect an aspect of research relating to the industry briefs, looking at questions that begin with basic prototyping/wire framing for interaction, then specification design and implementation for problem solving, leading to working on data mining and machine learning for user matching, gesture recognition using sensors, and computer vision. All projects are being overseen in collaboration with the Goldsmiths research and enterprise office.
